I've personally had great experiences meeting friendly people from out of town and fantastic individuals from within. The town is friendly, beautiful and clean which is exactly what you'll experience through your stay at this cozy, warm, inviting, budget-friendly and super clean rooms. I was taken aback at the gorgeous rooms that you must see to believe. At those prices and security cameras throughout, I slept like a baby. Thank you Awesome owners and staff who do a fantastic job to make your stay there a warm and welcoming experience.
Amazing rooms, very clean and maintained. The lady who checked us in was super sweet and made sure we got everything we needed. The location of the hotel was in a great spot in Oskaloosa, near food and a mile away from the square.
Staff and Rooms were amazing! We were coming back from a concert late at night and she had waited for us to show up right before midnight before going to bed herself. Very nice people! Only downside is it’s right next to a busy street in Oskaloosa but other than that it’s amazing.
We came in for the nationals last weekend. For being a ma and pa motel, the owner took the time for us. Very sweet lady. The cleaning girls were as awesome and they all seemed to work as a time. The room was great. I checked out all the beds and the cleanness of the bathroom. No signs of bed bugs. And room was very clean and smelled great. Only complaint and it really isn't that just suggestion of maybe touching up the walls. Just had alot of little nicks from maybe moving furniture around. The rooms wasn't dingy the white walls made the room feel bigger and brighter. Unlike other motels I've stayed in with dark walls. The pricing was decent for the event. I would differntly recommend staying there.
Booked this room based off of photos and other reviews. It was the cheapest one in the area and I just needed an overnight. It is an old hotel that has been updated but like with any updates to older properties there are still areas for improvements. If you are used to 4&5 star hotels this isn’t for you. But if you are okay with things that aren’t perfect but very nice, I would recommend it. I probably wouldn’t book this hotel if I came with my family or small children as you are a ways from anything to do and there isn’t any amenities for the kids. It’s a room with a bathroom! The owner was super nice (and was also the one helping clean the rooms the next day) so it is a mom and pop shop but well worth the stay!
Our room was great, comfortable beds and very very clean even smelled fresh, women at the desk was so nice , we will definitely be back when we visit our boy at William Penn university.
This hotel partnered with us for a local event. The owners were SO VERY kind and accommodating. The rooms were great and the showers were EXACTLY what we needed. I would work with them and stay there again!
